My name is Kat Piera and I am an 18 year old from Annapolis Maryland. I am a freshman studying engineering at Virginia Tech. I paint in my free time and I aspire to be both an engineer and an artist.

STATEMENT

I use a variety of colors, experimenting with shape and color to create visually complex and interesting combinations. Without fear of mistake, I layer acrylics on paper to create colorful portraits.
