BIO
The seventh of eight artistic children, I was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1972. As far back as I can remember, I have always worked with my hands at crafting something. However, painting is my favorite means of art expression. I love the natural world around me, especially the ocean, and that is what I express in my paintings.
STATEMENT
My inspiration is the natural world around me as well as other's ideas on certain things (hence the benefits of collaboration). I especially love the ocean; I grew up visiting the beach frequently to skate along the trail with my dad. Once I am moved by a beautiful scene, I immediately go to work at recreating it in some form.
