BIO
Felicia L. Reed is an award winning Fiber Artist, Coach, Advocate, Speaker, Humanitarian, Virtual TV Host, and Quality Management professional. Using the ancient technique of wet felting, Ms. Reed promotes art as a healing and wellness modality. She uses her one-of-a-kind Healing Wraps as a vessel of connectivity and to spark desires to embark on a healing journey. Her Healing Wraps have been on exhibit in galleries, art forums and are used in healing sessions for coaching and wellness. Ms. Reed is located in the Washington, DC area and is available for appearance and support.
STATEMENT
My Healing Wraps are made with all silk and wool fibers and represent a spiritual gift of healing. They represent my strong connection to nature. After one class, I began making beautiful wraps to support healing from abuse.and trauma. As I worked with the fibers, I felt amazing energy and saw imagery. The work was calming and yet every xciting as no two are alike. Today, I make Healing Wraps using silk and wool fibers, infusing them with essential oils, tree resins and flowers. Every strand is laid and agitated by hand.
