BIO
Humberto Guanipa was born in Venezuela 1954. He enrolled in the Air Forces in 1973 where he studied different types of drawings: Mechanical, Technical, Architect
etc...By 1977 he began to study art in Margarita Island for 3 years .Afterward,he returned to Valencia where he enrolled at Arturo Michelena School of Plastic Art for another 2 years.
STATEMENT
My work stems from early memories and first impression relating to our physical evidence and emotional baggage we all carry. The work arises from my subconscious, the process in which I create is both intuitive and spontaneous.
