The Endangered, Can Art Save Them?
An International Art Exhibition
(November 7 through January 8, 2021)
BIO
I've always loved the creative process and love dabbling in all artistic mediums. I attended The Fallbrook School of The Arts in California before embarking on a career as a mixed media artist. After taking several painting classes, I'm now enjoying painting and often include mixed media elements in my paintings.
STATEMENT
From an early age I have been a protector of animals. I have spent my entire adult life in the realm of animal welfare, animal rights and animal rescue.
For the last 20 years I've been actively involved with the organization, Animals Asia, fighting to end the horrifically cruel bear bile farming industry in China and Vietnam. My series of Moon Bear paintings reflect my respect for the work being done to bring about this change and portray these beautiful bears sympathetically.
It is my hope that through compassion and art we can make a better world for animals everywhere.
