STATEMENT
My art scrutinizes American pop culture while taking inspiration from it. It is bright and illuminating like a tv or phone screen. By employing the same devices as our media, it asks the viewer to question why we take part in a system that hurts earth's wildlife, and ultimately ourselves. Why do we place value where we do?
