When I retired, I began taking art lessons, and found oil to be my favorite medium. Coming from Vancouver, mountains are special to me, and they come up often in my paintings. But all gorgeous scenery appeals to me, and I enjoy expressing it in my work. I have also done some portraits (the most recent being my two youngest grandchildren) and I have a website, sharonkvist.info. My paintings bring me joy.
