Artist Statement:
Recycled, Repurposed + Redefined.
My work explores the world of the lost object: obsolete, cast off, and discarded. I take the objects found from the past that have lost their usefulness, and retain only their memory, then combine and alter them in such a way that they rise up, like a phoenix from the ashes finding a new language, new meaning and a new form.
