STATEMENT
The paintings vary in concept and statement; the intent is to explore current events such as climate, bias, hate, and discrimination. Some reflect the natural beauty of the human form. Some make a political statement such as "Drowned in Stars and Lies and They Helped Build America". Sad Christ reflects the situation of the world as it currently exists full of conflict turmoil and suffering. Women's rights express the attack and stress applied to women today, chased by politicians telling her how to live and what she can and cannot do with her own body. Plato's Chariot, it is driven by the soul, the black horse represents ambition, greed, selfishness, and aggression. The White horse represents kindness, empathy, and fairness.
