“We Make a Living by What We Get, But We Make a Life by What We Give.”

~ Winston Churchill

Artists can be motivated by many things, but in all cases their main vision is to create something beautiful, something that provokes, to express emotion, or to make people think and take action.  Art is the perfect vehicle to raise awareness of a specific cause and that’s exactly what Art Impact® International is doing.  Beautiful art is the best way to draw attention to today’s threats because it connects with people on an emotional level. Being capable of going to the place where beliefs and attitudes are formed is the only way to change them.

Art can provoke empathy.  For example, a painting showing the effects of how the world would look if tigers or koalas are extinguished may get the point across. The amazing thing about art is that artists can create anything they feel is important for people to know about their impact on global warming.  You have to keep in mind that art exists to make people feel a certain way when they look at it. Because everyone has different feelings artists have the power to profoundly impact the minds of people and help them to take action.

Art Impact® International wants to get other artists to show people their impact on the planet.  Can art save the endangered animals, and other life and plants on Earth?  One of the main advantages of this initiative is that it reaches out to different people in different circles to spread the word.  If you are an artist and want to make a difference go submit your work, join the competition and see how you can make a difference with your art.

“You give but little when you give of possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
